Five-year agreement signed between the University and the Rimini-based company specializing in technologies for processing a wide range of materials and industrial components.
Bologna, July 15, 2024 - Rector Giovanni Molari and Marco Mancini, CEO of Scm Group S.p.A., have signed a collaboration agreement to work together over the next five years on activities and projects of common interest.
In particular, the Athenaeum and Scm Group will be able to participate together in regional, national and international research calls and programs, activate Scm Group-funded technical-scientific consultancies and scholarships, grants and doctoral fellowships to carry out research activities. Among the objectives of the collaboration are also the possibility of creation and shared access to common laboratories; dissemination activities of research results and organization of seminars and events on innovative topics.
The agreement also includes the implementation of educational activities with the involvement of professional managers from Scm Group as part of Unibo's undergraduate, master's, higher education or specialization courses, in order to transmit skills useful both for the continuation of studies and for entry into the world of work.
In addition to the activities for the training and orientation of Unibo students, there will also be courses for Scm Group employees conducted by University of Bologna professors jointly with possible third parties, on topics defined according to the Company's training needs. These training courses will be identified and delivered through Campus, Scm Group's training hub.
There will be no shortage of joint activities and initiatives for the job orientation of female and male students, by means of specific events or by activating training and orientation internships, based on the appropriate University agreements.
