TECHNOLOGIES HIGHLIGHTS
Routing and drilling: “morbidelli m100”
This affordable highly modular 5-axis CNC machining centre provides solutions to all the problems associated with woodworking. Thanks to its solid structure and the 5-axis JQX electrospindle, morbidelli m100 can perform not only every kind of panel machining, but also those for solid wood.
The machine is run by the design and programming Maestro lab software that presents new updates and features.
This CAD-CAM software for the design of the workpiece, ensures that all the wood workings are quickly and easily programmed thanks to smart functions (app and macros libraries) built to program any machine operation with a mouse click.
At Interzum Guangzhou, “morbidelli m100” will be also equipped with a special application for innovative assembly processes: the Lamello wood connecting system, to offer a one-hit machining process that gives a quick and cost-effective way to work with 90-degree butt joints without the need for glue.
No second machining is required: the whole process will be completed on a single machine with high levels of speed and accuracy.
Surface treatment
At Interzum Guangzhou you will also be able to see first-hand the exclusive, sophisticated and trending finishing effects achieved with SCM’s complete range of top quality solutions for surface treatment.
SCM, will present “dmc eurosystem”: a highly modular automatic sanding-calibrating machine that stands out for its ability to perform a variety of machining work on both raw and painted panels.
The machine on display is equipped with Roller unit, Superfinishing unit and cleaning brush at the machine outfeed, this version is dedicated for veneered panels sanding and preparation of the base for the finishing coat application. The superfinishing unit is particularly suitable for the superfinishing of solid wood components, MDF panels that have to be laminated, veneered or painted (opaque and polished). While the cleaning brush with rotating blowers’ increases belt life and improves finishing quality, especially on painted panels.
At the SCM booth there will be a 3D finishing corner with original samples of panels and wood flooring processed with the innovative laser engraving unit integrated into "dmc system" automatic wide belt sander, for sought-after finishing effects.
This multi-purpose innovative unit is particularly suited to creating three-dimensional marking on wood flooring, wood elements, mdf panels to be veneered, fibre cement panels and solid surfaces of any length. Furthermore, thanks to the exclusive "Self-Refilling" technology, a distinctive advantage of SCM's laser unit, it is possible to make the most of the features in terms of power without further interruptions to the production flow.
Regarding finishing, another solution on display will be “magnum”, Superfici’s spraying machine with a high production capacity.
It ensures a high quality product thanks to the optimal distribution of lacquer even in more critical situations through the patented independent double reciprocators.
Flexibility is another advantage of this solution: indeed the ability to equip with multiple lacquer reclaiming systems and belt cleaning units in the machine allows an instantaneous change of lacquers. Thanks to the presence of additional groups, the cleaning of the reclaiming units can be completed during the production cycle to avoid line stops.
The software is able to manage automatic color changes up to 10 colors and can set all the parameters necessary for the specific painting operations.
