We can’t wait to share these exciting developments with you!
Devised by the Canadian Woodworking Machinery Distributors Association (CWMDA) in 2020, Woodworking Technology Days (WTD) is a 4-day open house event that highlights the jam-packed showrooms of several key players in the Canadian woodworking manufacturing industry.
The goal is to provide guests with an in-depth, one-on-one experience where they can talk with experts and learn about the latest in the woodworking world.
Wondering what else is in it for you?
How about daily raffles for up to 8 hours of preventative maintenance machine servicing? Each guest will be entered into a daily draw throughout the show, with winners notified after the event.
Plus, just for attending our showroom, you'll get two free passes to our upcoming SCM Master Class training sessions for Edgebanders and CNCs.
Introduced earlier this year at IWF, SCM's new morbidelli x100 and morbidelli x50 CNC machining centers are designed for high-speed, flexible nesting to meet the demand for "batch one" production. Both feature SCM’s Smart Cut algorithm, reducing energy consumption, waste, and cycle times while enhancing cutting precision.
The models also include SMS (Spoilboard Management System) software for efficient spoil panel management, and the morbidelli x50 introduces High Grip Vacuum technology for superior piece grip, even on smaller panels. Safety is ensured with the SAFE protection system, providing free access to all sides of the machine, while the morbidelli x50 also offers top drilling performance with 8000 rpm RO.AX technology.
Blade Off is SCM's new safety solution designed to reduce the inherent risks of using a circular saw. It integrates seamlessly into the work process, making safety a natural part of operation without compromising productivity or quality.
Using an electrical field to detect when flesh (as opposed to wood) enters the danger zone, the Blade Off system immediately retracts the saw blade and applies a break. Once you’re ready to get back to work you can just raise the blade back up and restart - no replacement needed!
We debuted this technology last fall at our Rimini, Italy Technology Center and we're thrilled to bring it to the Canadian market.
Meet the maker portable CNC router - another brand new product we unveiled at IWF.
Designed for mobility, the maker is easy to handle and can be placed directly on the work surface, enabling routing on large surfaces without occupying permanent space.
Ideal for a variety of users and settings, including DIY enthusiasts, artisans, designers, the construction industry, and shared workspaces like schools and co-working spaces.
Think of the possibilities of taking it to the jobsite! It’s easy to use and works autonomously. You just set up the project, start the router and walk away.
The stefani X Edgebander is designed for high-precision edge processing, offering exceptional flexibility for both large-scale and custom production.
Compatible with multiple adhesive types, including EVA, PUR, and AirFusion technology for seamless, glue-free finishes, it ensures efficient, high-quality results across a wide range of materials.
With advanced automation and quick setup features, it's the perfect solution for manufacturers seeking top-tier performance.
Discover the SCM Software Solutions and Digital Services, specifically designed for work preparation and production, as well as monitoring, maintenance and servicing.

Work simple. Work digital.
Excellent finishing results are obtained when machining raw and painted panels thanks to the wide range of units (Cross-Belt, Calibrating Roller, Sanding Roller, Super-Finisher) that come with the dmc eurosystem, and to its prescribed approach: a perfect combination of aggressive roller with sensitive EPICS electronic sectional pad.
This highly modular machining center provides answers to all the problems associated with woodworking.
Just a few clicks to design and manufacture pieces of any shape. Run by the Maestro Suite.
Ideal solution for small-sized companies.
Single-blade beam saw controlled by PC/PLC control system, designed to cut solid wood panels or panel stacks and its products (chipboards, MDF panels, multilayer panels, plywood panels and fiber panels).
