Scm Group among the "Top Italian Companies" by turnover

An analysis by L'Economia of Il Corriere della Sera Italian newspaper and the ItalyPost Research Centre again this year counts the Scm Group among the 'Top Italian Companies', the best Italian businesses with a turnover of over 500 million euro. Scm Group President Andrea Aureli, who spoke at the event on 20 October, remarked on the positive trend recorded despite the complexities of the international macroeconomic context, by the Group, a world leader in technologies for processing a wide range of materials and in industrial components: a record turnover of 850 million in 2022 and a forecast of over 900 million at the end of 2023. The greatest challenges lie at the order intake level due to several factors, such as the disappearance of government incentives in Italy and other countries and the settling of demand for industrial machinery after the exceptional increase in 2021 and 2022. Despite this, the Group continues to invest in R&D, production efficiency, digitalisation and markets, also opening new branches in South East Asia and Europe. Aureli also emphasised the importance of being able to count on strong vertical integration, in a niche sector such as the one in which the Group operates and having a very high geographical diversification, with an export share of over 90%.
