Decortech Conference in Rimini

Decortech Conference is an international conference organized by the Italian Exhibition Group and ICE, dedicated to companies developing technologies, innovations and research activities in surface treatment.

On the 14th of June, the Palacongressi in Rimini housed companies, designers and industry experts to explore the latest aesthetic trends for finishing. SCM and Superfici took part in the event with their SCM Surfaces Technology project as a single partner for the entire surface treatment, thanks to a wide and complete offer of solutions and services for sanding, pressing and painting.

Solutions for exclusive, refined products relevant for their elegant, stylish and high-quality textures and surface finishes. From the stage of the Palacongressi in Rimini, the Product Managers Lorenzo Bugli and Claudio Baldizzone spoke about the increasing competition in the market. If Bugli illustrated the latest SCM innovations for sanding with laser engraving technology and the design of 3D surfaces with the carving unit for highly customized products, Baldizzone from Superfici underlined one of the hottest trends in the sector: the excimer technology for ultra-matt and highly resistant finishes over time.

When it comes to surfaces, appearance matters too. The event also involved a special preview on 13th June, with a tech tour at SCM's Surface Tech Lab by a delegation of industry professionals from various European and overseas countries. An opportunity to touch the sophisticated finishing effects obtained with the group's technologies.
