Jonathan is in Portland most of the time, overseeing the west coast end of New Energy Works' design & timber framing business—sometimes designing with clients, sometimes making new partnerships, and sometimes onsite in a tool belt. A few times a year, he hops on a flight to New York to see what's kicking in Farmington. He's also been spotted in the desert or on a mountainside getting his energy out on a dirt bike with his son, Jake. Basically, he's a hard guy to pin down, or have sit still, but he has graciously decided to join us as our keynote speaker for the event!

TRUSS SYSTEM NT
A Semi-Automated / Manually Aided Roof Truss Manufacturing System
Equipped with an overhead laser system, the NT offers the capability to produce a wide range of roof trusses up to 40'-0" spans (in its standard form). The NT is compatible with almost all truss designing software on the market. It is targeted to builders or framers looking to produce their own roof trusses offsite without having to outsource.
FM1000 FRAMING STATION
A Semi-Automated / Manually Aided Open Wall Panel Manufacturing System
The FM1000 can produce open wall panels (no sheathing) of various heights (Adjustable) with minimal labor. It can accomodate 2x3 - 2x12 plates and studs. The Standard FM1000 is designed to build 20'-0" panels. It is targeted to builders or framers looking to produce thier own open wall panels offsite in order to achieve time and labor savings at the job site.
SPL728 CROSS-CUT SAW
A Semi-Automated / Manually Aided Cross-Cut Saw System
The SPL728 executes precise straight, angled and inclined cuts. It can produce all the cuts necessary for roof truss chords and webs as well as studs for wall framing. It is targeted to builders or framers looking to produce their own roof trusses or open wall panels off-site in order to achieve time and labor savings at the job site.
