There have been three successful in-house exhibition days at the Technology Center in Nürtingen, with new products presented to the many customers and interested parties from the DACH market.
As stated by SCM’s new Regional Manager of DACH Region, Giovanni Masino: "We have great potential thanks to our vast offer. We will focus on this strength in the DACH market over the next few years. One item on my agenda is to further increase the awareness of this unique product diversity in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The DACH project has a high priority for SCM."
With the SMART&HUMAN Factory, SCM inspired both customers of artisan and industry. They experienced the product potential and digitalization through live demos on site: from furniture to the windows, stairs and solid wood elements processing.
The new olimpic 500 edgebander was presented at the Open House showing demanding woodworkers the high performances that can be achieved in the smallest spaces. High quality standards, maximum flexibility thanks to the axis-controlled positioning of the units, simple and automatic glue change and a user-friendly operator interface are guaranteed.
For joinery, SCM presented "Blade-Off", the exclusive technological safety solution for its sliding table saws. Through smart sensors, any risk of injury is prevented by a detection barrier that protects the entire danger zone around the saw blade.
Customers’ attention was also captured by the new dmc system t2. These flexible and modular calibrating/sanding CNC was presented with a brand new feature: an innovative laser unit which celebrated its world premiere at Xylexpo, particularly well-suited for the wooden floor super finish, solid wood parts and mdf panels decorating and fibre cement finishes.
The SCM team would like to thank all partners and customers who attended the DACH Open House to discover the many SCM innovations and to give our team of experts further valuable insights for "future-proof" solutions.
