New visitors to the Scm Group Technology Center discover the latest technological process innovations in woodworking.
A delegation of lecturers from the Polish vocational school of ZESPÓŁ SZKÓŁ PONADGIMNAZJALNYCH NR 2 W KĘPNIE, from Kepno, visited Scm Group Headquarters in Rimini this morning to discover the most advanced solutions in the woodworking machinery sector, starting from “Industry 4.0” innovations.
The group, welcomed by Fabrizio Pazzaglia, Scm Group's European Regional Manager, was particularly impressed by Scm's Digital Hub. The lecturers enjoyed a close look at the different services of Maestro Digital System, designed to make the job of the wood operator simpler and smarter, and above all the Smartech smart glasses, the innovative assistance and remote maintenance system in augmented reality, which redesigns the future of the relationship between company, service and customer.
Poland’s Kepno region is one of the largest wood industry districts in the country, with about two hundred companies in the sector. The Kepno professional school has 800 students, 120 of which are on the woodworking course.
