C.T. “Kip” Howlett Jr.
President of the Decorative Hardwoods Association (formerly the Hardwood Plywood & Veneer Association (HPVA) in Sterling, VA for 11 years. After a career spanning two decades with Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Kip launched a career in association management for industries closely allied to his areas of expertise. He spent 12 years with the American Chemistry Council where he was Vice president, then headed the State Foresters Association before joining the Hardwood Plywood & Veneer Association in 2007. He is a lawyer with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law and a BA degree from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore MD.
