We are on the third day of Ligna and we can finally say: It's Ligna again!
After 4 years since its last edition, we have finally returned to meet and shake hands in one of the most evocative and innovative contexts dedicated to global woodworking machinery industry.
Rich days, for the technological thrust of the innovations proposed as well as for the presence at the fair of so many experts and curious people in the sector.
SCM dedicates over 3,000 square metres to the main topics that animate this event in Hannover: technology, innovation and people. Structured to respond to the evolutions and new needs of these 3 key words, the SCM booth presents the best woodworking solutions for every process and application.
Not only a rich offer of state-of-the-art machinery. Thanks to its experts, SCM was also a protagonist at Ligna.stage. Alessandra Benedetti, Digital Director, together with Manuela Andreani, Software Product Manager, and Lorenzo Monti, Process & Competences Improvement Manager, brought the theme 'People and technology: A new paradigm' to the Ligna.stage, while Giacomo Montanelli, SCM Automation Product Manager, presented 'Autonomous production - next challenges and opportunities'.
There was also great interest in new trends in finishing with Gloria Valtorta, Business Unit Manager of Superfici, sharing with the Ligna audience 'UV LED curing, path to more efficient and environmentally friendly UV processes'.
The press meeting was also in the spotlight during these first few days. It attracted many journalists from the world trade press to the SCM booth. After the speeches by Scm Group General Manager Luigi De Vito, the Wood Division Product&Markets Director Pietro Gheller and the Dach Area Regional Manager Giovanni Masino, our guests were given a tech tour of the stand to discover all the group's innovations.
